Moyamba, Sierra Leone - 2011

To God be the glory for the great things He has done! Before Into Africa stopped in to render help, we were in fervent prayer. As the scripture rightly says, “When I was naked thee clothed me”. We had being desperately struggling with a proper place to keep services.

The eviction notice and humiliation was a serious problem. It came to a time when we had no place to keep our services. We also lost members that the church had invested in over the years. That is when the church burst into crying to the God that answers prayers, and God heard the cry. Into Africa met our request through the help of donations made by sacrificial people, who have passion for the dying world. We can now boast of a building of our own, where Gods people worship freely without any controversy.

On the 20th – 23rd October 2011, Pastor Alvin Smith and Team (Into Africa) visited Sierra Leone and the Moyamba Church for the opening of the new church building which was very much appreciated by members of the church. It’s created a sense of ‘we are not alone’, and things are changing! Revival is breaking in the township of Moyamba, Sierra Leone.

It tells me that every church needs to be empowered for services. I am very much grateful to the Team (Into Africa) for helping us to make our dreams into a reality, although there are other things needed like a water well, education, and lighting. We believe God for miracle money. Special regards goes to Pst. Dr Alvin Smith for his relentless effort in pushing the church fund-raising for Africa, a place that needs empowerment and monitoring. Keep praying for us.
